The Los Angeles Convention Center is one of the largest and most versatile meeting and assembly buildings in the United States. The 37-acre complex includes a 213,000 square foot main hall which contains the nation's largest column-free exhibit area, 290 x 560 feet. The convention center can handle a 10-member committee meeting or a 15,000-person convention with equal ease.
The complex contains a second 25,000 s.f. column-free hall, and 18 meeting rooms seating from 50 to 1,600 persons. Food service facilities include a 218-seat restaurant, a 450 seat cafeteria and a 124-seat cocktail lounge. A total of 4,000 parking spaces are available including 3,000 at street level beneath the facility and 1,000 in a 3-level parking structure.
The Luckman Partnership was responsible for the original facility which was recently expanded to nearly double the original size. |
